Dining Services

All catered events must employ the staff of Maryville Dining Services, who can assist you in designing a simple or elegant - but always unique - event to meet your budget. Exceptional dining is just one of the many different things provided by Maryville Dining Services, which strives to offer you dining facilities and menus that are second to none. Menus are tailored to your specific occasion or catering need, and options range from simple continental breakfasts and coffee breaks to business and wedding receptions and sumptuous buffets or served meals. Coupled with exceptional cuisine is a promise of beautiful presentation and excellent service.

Table Arrangements - Tables seating six to eight people are typical setups. Head tables can be accommodated. Cake and gift tables can also be arranged to meet your needs.

Decorations - All arrangements for decorations must be made with Conference and Event Services. In general, the College requests that nothing be used to permanently alter existing structures, such as nails or heavy tape. Open flames such as candles are prohibited. Delivery of flowers and other special decorations may be coordinated with Conference and Event Services.

Entertainment - DJs, bands and other musicians are not booked by the College. However, special musician setups are arranged with Conference and Event Services.

Wedding Cakes - Wedding cakes may be ordered by an off-campus baker. Cake cutting and serving services can be arranged with Maryville Dining Services.

Alcoholic Beverages - Persons reserving Maryville College facilities are required to ask for and receive written permission from the College before serving alcohol at a special event. Clients are expected to comply with all local, state and federal laws regarding the use and consumption of alcoholic beverages.
