Public Issues Forum

The Center for Strong Communities collaborates with other organizations to sponsor community forums that address current public issues. Previous forums have included workshops, roundtable discussions, and public presentations on water quality, Black-Brown coalition building, preserving farmland, public education, and quality growth, and new neighbors in Appalachia.

The Center for Strong Communities welcomes discussion of collaborative efforts to host community forums in 2009 that will inform and stimulate people for civic engagement and the work of strengthening our communities.
