Education: A.B., Harvard University; M.A., Ph.D., University of Chicago.
Bio: Daniel Klingensmith is Assistant Professor of History, teaching courses in European and South Asian history; environmental history; and history and politics of weapons of mass destruction. He earned a B.A. from Harvard University in 1987, and an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in 1989. His dissertation and forthcoming book address the Tennessee Valley Authority as a model for development worldwide.
