Education: B.A., Hartwick College; M.A., University of Wisconsin; Ph.D., Emory University.
Bio: Nancy L. Locklin is Assistant Professor of History teaching courses in Western civilization, World history, urban studies, witch hunts and persecution, and history research methods. Although not an expert on Judaism, as a professor who is a practicing Jew, she is often asked to speak on this topic.
She earned a B.A. from Hartwick College in N.Y., an M.A. from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee and a Ph.D. from Emory University in Atlanta. Her dissertation was on women's work and identity in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries in France, and her research was completed with the support of a Fulbright research grant. Locklin is a member of the Society for French Historical Studies and the Western Society for French History.
