Objectives

• Maryville College will be characterized by an active and engaging campus life that fosters whole-person education.
• The College will be widely recognized for the high rate of student, faculty, and staff participation in College sponsored service learning, leadership development, and volunteer opportunities.
• The College campus will be a model of environmental stewardship.
• The College will recruit and retain a diverse student body and have an enrollment of 1200 talented students.
• The campus environment will be significantly shaped by its residential character, where 75% of the student body will live in College residence facilities.
• The College will be widely known for the unusually strong commitment of its constituents to the mission of the College and for their support of and involvement in the life of the College.
• The College's five-year year graduation rate consistently will exceed 65%.
• The Alexander Center for Community at Maryville College will be established.
