Application instructions for the Center for English Language Learning
To apply to our program, choose one of the following options:

Guidelines
- Any person over the age of 17, for whom English is not the native or primary language of communication, may apply.
- Include the following items with this form (please complete both sides):
- $25 application fee: non-refundable (bank check, money order, Traveler’s check, or credit card. For credit card payment: please tell us the type of card, card number, and expiration date.)
- Financial records showing ability to pay for the costs of your studies in the US. (bank statements or letters of financial support, clearly showing available funds).
- If you want to enter Maryville College after your English studies, send your academic records from high school or university.
- If your application is approved, we will send you the form I-20, which you need to apply for a student visa. We will also send more information about our language program, our College, and how to get here.
- Let us know if you want us to mail the materials to you by Air mail (no extra charge) or DHL courier express (see fees below).
- Applications from some countries require a $200 reporting fee before we will issue an I-20. We will contact you if such a fee is required. It is fully refundable if you are unable to get a visa.
DHL Courier Fees
If you want us to use courier service (DHL), add the following amount to your application fee:
- For western Europe and east Asia (Japan, Korea, Taiwan) $30
- For central and south America: $35
- For other countries, contact us or add $60
