The Center for English Language Learning

The Center for English Language Learning offers six levels of instruction from beginning to advanced. Completion of each level requires ten weeks (two five - week units) of study. Students may join for only one five-week session, for two sessions, or any other length of time. All sessions have five hours of class per day, five days a week for full-time studies. All classes have fewer than 12 students per class; the average class size is 7-9.

*the 3-week session features classes 3 hours per day instead of 5, and more afternoon activities and trips

**Room/board = double occupancy in residence halls of the College on campus and 19 meals per week.

Normally homestays are available to enrolled students who have completed at least one five-week term; cost is $150 per week. It is best if new students live on-campus for one five-week session so that they can learn the school and make friends better.

Weekly rates are available if a student cannot attend a full session.

Other Costs

  • Health insurance; can be purchased here or brought with you. Contact us formore information.
  • Books; Average cost $80 per session.
  • $100 damage deposit; refunded after you finish your studies here.
  • Money for personal expenses and extra trips.

Refunds are made in emergency cases when students must leave the program early.
