The mission of the Summer Institute at Maryville College is to insure that the vibrant intellectual life of the College exists on a year-round basis. To that end, the Institute offers traditional academic courses, all taught by the College’s renowned faculty, offered in three-week, five-week, or eleven-week summer terms. These courses are the perfect opportunity, not only for our own students, but also for non-Maryville College students in the local community to continue their studies during the summer.
Whether you’re interested in art, history, education, management, psychology, or outdoor recreation -- no matter what you're studying --Maryville College’s Summer Institute has classes for you. Offered in a special session in 2009 is a World Cultures course that incorporates a significant travel component to Western China.
Credit courses are available during different sessions offered throughout the summer. Fees are $310 per credit hour.
