I was born on a US Army base in Würzburg, Germany, and have lived in East Tennessee since I was four years old. I attended University of Tennessee Knoxville to earn my bachelors degree in English - creative writing with a minor in Theatre. After college, I worked for an adult education non-profit conducting outreach and also taught English as a second language for a year in Busan, South Korea. Prior to arriving at Maryville, I worked as an enrollment advisor for the University of Phoenix's Knoxville campus, where I am also currently enrolled as an MBA student. I am passionate about adult learners and hope to be a part of this community well into my professional career!
