Why I love MC

I went to a 4-year public state school in North Carolina. Like many of you, I thought that a private school was totally unrealistic with their tuition prices and fee expectations. However, since I have been employed at Maryville College, I have learned that the student body and their family scenarios were just like mine! MC does so much in financial aid awarding to make it possible for all students to afford to be able to attend. I love that MC wants to provide every student a unique opportunity for learning and that everyone who works for MC prides themselves in that belief. The faculty and staff all have the same goal--- for students to have a positive experience and succeed…BE SUCCESSFUL AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE!! Although I missed out on what a liberal arts college provides, I am catching up everyday through the current students. I want to be able to offer this type of education to all future students so they won’t have to make an uninformed decision based on finances, like me!!
