Why I love MC
I love MC because it's so many great things at once: an excellent educational institution with many distinctive features to offer its students; a close community where people know and care for each other; and a place where beauty and surprises wait around every corner.
Bio
I grew up in East Tennessee, and attended Berry College in Rome, Georgia. I loved the liberal arts environment, where I learned how to play guitar and found I had a passion for songwriting, studied many subjects, grew my hair long and rode around on an old motorcycle. It was great!
I graduated from Berry with a B.S. in Psychology and from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga with an M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. After finishing my Master’s, I returned to my beloved East Tennessee, married a wonderful woman, and came back to the liberal arts environment I’d grown to love so well – as an admissions counselor at Maryville College.
