Great Beginnings & Parent OrientationEntering freshmen are required to attend one of the four summer orientation sessions that we call Great Beginnings. At Great Beginnings, you will meet with an academic advisor to discuss and schedule your Fall semester classes, meet other new students and the Peer Mentors, and learn important information to consider as you make the transition to Maryville College. Great Beginnings also includes Parents' Orientation. We have a full schedule of workshops for your parents that will provide them with valuable information as they become MC parents, so please encourage them to attend Great Beginnings with you. Blount County College FairAlumni Gym; 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Maryville College will host the annual Blount County College Fair, Tuesday, September 13, from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. in the Alumni Gym. Over 80 colleges, universities, technical schools, and art institutes are invited to attend. Area high school students, their parents and other persons involved in a college search are invited to attend the fair. Reservations are not required for attendees, and there is no cost to attend. |

Visit Maryville College and see why we're considered one of the South's best liberal arts colleges. The students, faculty, and staff welcome visitors to campus.
Prospective students are encouraged to spend the night in a residence hall, attend classes, work out in the Fitness Center, take a hike in the College Woods, and find out what it's like to be a Maryville student.
Campus tours, conducted by current students who are members of our Maryville College Ambassador program, leave Fayerweather Hall from the Office of Admissions twice a day, Monday through Friday at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m, and on many Saturdays at 10:00 a.m.
Visitors should contact the Office of Admissions a minimum of two weeks in advance to request a visit with an overnight stay (available during fall and spring semesters only) and a minimum of three days in advance of a one-day visit.
