Maryville College invites area Seniors to lead off the school year and join us at a Tennessee Smokies game!

Cover all the bases in your admissions process and join Maryville College and other area heavy hitter colleges and universities at the Smokies College Fair on Friday, August 5th beginning at 5:45pm. Register today to get your discounted ticket for the baseball game. Visit six college tables at the fair to be entered in a raffle to win: a Hoverboard, a Smokies Prize Pack, or Brantley Gilbert Concert Tickets!

Blount County College Fair

Representatives from more than 50 colleges, universities, technical schools and art schools are expected at the annual Blount County College Fair, which is scheduled for Monday, September 12. Area high school students, their parents and other persons involved in a college search are invited to attend the fair.

Reservations are not required for attendees, and there is no cost to attend the fair.

Financial Aid Night

Although presented by Maryville College’s financial aid staff, this is a general information session to help prospective students and parents, regardless of the type of college they are considering. Parents and students will learn what they need to do to apply for all types of financial aid. Terminologies, student eligibility, timelines and information on grants and loans will be explained. From institutional aid to state and federal aid programs, this financial aid primer will help decipher the terms, raise the issues, review best approaches and answer financial aid questions. Participants will also be briefed on the Tennessee Educational Lottery Scholarship Program, as well as the importance of searching out free money awards like scholarships to help pay for education costs. Financial Aid Night is free and open to the public. No registration is required.

Other Opportunities to Visit Campus

Visit Maryville College and see why we're considered one of the South's best liberal arts colleges. The students, faculty, and staff welcome visitors to campus.

Prospective students are encouraged to spend the night in a residence hall (available to high school seniors and prospective transfer students), attend classes, meet our Faculty, and find out what it's like to be a Maryville College student.

Daily campus tours, conducted by current students who are members of our Maryville College Ambassador program, occur three times a day, Monday through Friday (9:30 am, 10:30 am, and 1:30 pm).

We are also open on many Saturdays during the academic year. Saturday visits offer a campus tour at 10:00 a.m.

Visitors should contact the Office of Admissions a minimum of two weeks in advance to request a visit with an overnight stay (available for current high school seniors and transfer students during fall and spring semesters only) and a minimum of one week in advance of a one-day visit.
