Tennessee State Aid

If you have been a resident of Tennessee for one year by May 1 of the year you are entering college, graduated from a Tennessee High School program and filed a FASFA, you may be eligible for the Tennessee Lottery Scholarship, a Tennessee State Grant or other state issued Scholarship.

TN Hope Lottery Scholarship

The Tennessee Hope Education Lottery program awards scholarships to all Tennessee high school students who meet certain academic requirements upon graduation and plan on attending an eligible Tennessee university or college.

Tennessee Student Assistance Award

In addition to the Hope Scholarship, the State of Tennessee grants Student Assistance Awards to students with exceptional high financial need according to their FAFSA information.

Funding for the Tennessee Student Assistance Awards is limited and is awarded on a first come-first serve basis. Maryville College recommends that you file your FAFSA no later than February 1 for consideration of this award.

TN State Scholarship Programs

The State of Tennessee offers a limited number of scholarships to Tennessee high school graduates. Among these are the Robert C Byrd Scholarship, The Ned McWherter Scholars Program, Minority Teaching Fellows and Tennessee Teaching Fellows.
