The President’s Circle

Contributors to The President’s Circle provided a generous share of the College’s income with their gifts of $1,000 or more during the 2007 fiscal year.

The Thomas Jefferson Lamar Society

Named for the College’s “Second Founder,” who rebuilt the College after the Civil War, the Thomas Jefferson Lamar Society recognizes those who contributed between $500 and $999 during the 2007 fiscal year.

The William Thaw Society

Named for the College’s most generous donor of the 19th Century, the William Thaw Society recognizes those who contributed between $250 and $499 during the 2007 fiscal year.

The Century Club

Contributors making gifts between $100 and $249 during the 2007 fiscal year are recognized as members of the Century Club and help enhance the College and student experiences throughout the year.

Donors making gifts up to $99 during the 2007 fiscal year are recognized as providing the support needed to help sustain the College throughout the year.

The Calvin Duncan Society

ATTENTION ALL ALUMNI: Represented by the infinity sign (∞), the CDS is a new alumni giving classification, created by the Class of 2002.  Named after one of the College’s most loyal alumni during the early 20th Century, CDS members promise to make a gift of some amount each and every year.  The goal of the CDS is to raise the national reputation of the College by increasing alumni giving percentage.  All alumni are encouraged to become members.  To sign up, call 865.981.8200 or go to the Alumni Section of the College’s website
