Maryville College Basketball has a rich tradition of success.
The Todd Wright era began in 2008-09 and Maryville Basketball has elevated its game to national prominence.
SINCE 2000....
Over the last nine years, the Maryville women of the hardwood have maintained a level of excellence. Here are a few of their accomplishments in the decade of 2000:

This past season (2008-2009) the Scots finished the year 19-9, including a 12-0 record in the Great South Athletic Conference. They lost to Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia in the first round of the national tournament.
Historically, Scots basketball was one of the strongest programs nationally during the 1990’s. During the ten year span Maryville posted a record of 180-58 for an amazing .756 winning percentage. The Scots made six NCAA Tournament appearances and four Sweet 16 appearances in that era.
The MC Basketball program plays all of its home games in the Boydson Baird Gymnasium. The playing surface is one of three basketball floors housed in the Cooper Athletic Center. The Cooper Crazies enjoy watching the up-tempo offense and the aggressive defense that has become a trademark of their team. On the road, most of the Scots games can be heard via live broadcast on WBCR 1470 AM radio or on this internet site.
