Maryville College Women’s Soccer has a rich tradition of success. The MC Scots fielded their first intercollegiate team in 1988. From the early standard setting years until today, the Scots have registered a record of 263-127-21 in their 20-year history.

The Pepe Fernandez era began in 1991 and Maryville Women’s Soccer elevated its game to national prominence. Throughout the 90's, the Scots recorded nine winning seasons, including their first ever National Ranking in 1992.

Over the last nine years, Maryville has maintained a level of excellence both in the classroom as well as on the soccer field. Here are a few of their accomplishments in the decade of 2000:

7 NCAA tournament appearances
9 consecutive Great South Athletic Conference regular season titles

105-3-3 record in conference play
100-game unbeaten streak in conference play

This past season the Scots finished the year 14-5-1, including a perfect 9-0-0 record in the Great South Athletic Conference. They lost to Trinity University in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament after defeating the University of Mary Washington in the first round.

The Maryville College Women’s Soccer program plays all of its home games on campus at the MC Soccer Field. The playing surface is a 120 yd. x 78 yd. Bermuda grass field, and the newly added lights make for a superb setting.
