Maryville College Men’s Soccer has a rich tradition of success. The MC Scots fielded their first intercollegiate team in 1980. From the early standard setting years until today, the Scots have registered a record of 316-198-28 in their 28-year history.
The Pepe Fernandez era began in 1989 and Maryville Soccer elevated its game to national prominence. Throughout the 90's, the Scots recorded nine winning seasons, including two NCAA National Tournament appearances in 1995 & 1996.
Over the last nine years, Maryville has maintained a level of excellence both in the classroom as well as on the soccer field. Here are a few of their accomplishments in the decade of 2000:

This past season the Scots finished the year 13-2-3, including a 7-0-1 record in the Great South Athletic Conference winning both the regular season and conference tournament titles.
The Maryville College Men’s Soccer program plays all of its home games on campus at the MC Soccer Field. The playing surface is a 120 yd. x 78 yd. Bermuda grass field, and the newly added lights make for a superb setting.
