Scotties claim Cheersport Grand Championship Title

The Maryville College Dance Team competed on April 2nd in Sevierville at the Cheersport Grand Championship. The Scotties competed in two categories:College Pom and College Hip-Hop. In the hip-hop division, MC competed against the University of the Cumberlands and the Kentucky GangStars.

The 2009-10 Maryville College Dance Team coached by Michelle Ballew Safewright and Jenette Best competed at the Cheer Limited Soffee Open in Knoxville on Valentine's Day. The squad consisting of Courtney Phillips, Chelsey Cole, Sara Menard, Laurel Valk, Missy Howell, Mykal Harris, and Sara Jean Philippe took top honors in the Collegiate Dance Division and the top overall score for the afternoon session.
