Brandon Crabtree commits to Maryville College Basketball

Brandon Crabtree, a 6’2 guard from Scott County High School, has committed to continue his education and basketball career at Maryville College. Brandon, the son of Junior and Lisa Crabtree of Huntsville, TN, was a senior standout for the Highlanders and head coach Jared Laverdiere. In his senior campaign, Crabtree averaged 16.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game which earned him a place on the All-District 4-AA team as well as the District 4-AA All-Tournament team.

Kyle Schelvan commits to Maryville College Basketball

Kyle Schelvan, a 6’1 guard from Faith Christian Academy in Orlando, FL, has committed to continue his education and basketball career at Maryville College. Schelvan is the son of Duane and Monique Schelvan of Orland, FL, and was a four year standout for the Lions and head coach Tony Medina. Kyle was a consistent statistical leader throughout his career not only for his team, but also for the state of Florida. He is an experienced player that is capable of playing either guard position. As a senior at Faith Christian, Schelvan averaged 18.8 points and 8.3 assists per contest. Those assists numbers led Central Florida High School basketball for the 2011-2012 season. He was also ranked in the top ten for scoring. Kyle was a three time All-District selection and was voted third team All-State as a junior.

Levi Trentham commits to Maryville College Basketball

Levi Trentham, a 6’3 guard from William Blount High School, has decided to continue his education and basketball career at Maryville College. Levi, the son of James Trentham and Theresa Long, was a two year starter for the Governors and head coach Kevin Windle. Trentham was a primary offensive threat for William Blount in his junior and senior seasons as he concluded his final season averaging 11.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game. He was an All-Blount county selection for the 2010-2011 and ’11-’12 seasons, and also earned All-District honorable mention honors for the 2011-2012 season.

Matt Connatser commits to Maryville College Basketball

Matt Connatser, a 6’7 forward from William Blount High School has committed to continue his education and basketball career at Maryville College. Matt, the son of Robert and Susie Connatser, was a two year starter and key player for the Governors and head coach Kevin Windle. In his final season at William Blount, Connatser averaged 15.3 points and 5 rebounds per contest. He was an All-Blount County selection as a junior and senior and was selected to the All-District team as a senior for his stellar numbers.

Will Harris commits to Maryville College Basketball

Will Harris, a 5’8 guard from Hume-Fogg Magnet School, has decided to continue his education and basketball career at Maryville College. Will, the son of Tandy and Becky Harris of Nashville, TN, was senior standout for the Blue Knights and head coach David Givens. In his final season at Hume-Fogg, Harris averaged 7.8 points, 3.5 assists, and 2.0 steals per contest.
