Maryville College Women’s Athletics

Maryville College sponsors seven women’s varsity sports under the guidelines of the NCAA Division III. Soccer, cross country, volleyball, basketball, tennis, and softball compete in the Great South Athletic Conference.

MC has taken home 22 Great South Athletic Conference women’s sports titles since 2000 and has been awarded 30 bids to the NCAA post-season since joining the NCAA in 1969.

The cheerleading squad enlivens many Maryville College athletic events. These hard-working and dedicated student-athletes enjoy varsity status and bring a spirit of support to all their performances.

First-class facilities, competitive schedules, and expectations for success are enhanced by coaches that will challenge each student-athlete within their sport as well as the classroom. Their preparation for life has seen many participants earn All-Conference, All-Region, All-American, and Academic All-American accolades throughout the years.

The Scots’ women have earned five GSAC Presidents’ Cups and have been recognized as the league’s overall winning program the last four consecutive years.
