FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

In order for you to register for the upcoming school year, you must read and electronically sign to show you have read, understand, and agree with the Maryville College Financial Responsibility Acceptance document.

GREAT BEGINNINGS

Great Beginnings is a required summer orientation for all first time freshmen students and their family! Great Beginnings is the summer orientation event for new freshmen and your family that marks your 1st official day as an MC student.  Due to exceeding capacity, registration for June 27th and July 11th are now closed. IMMUNIZATION RECORDS

Students are required to provide proof of immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) and Chickenpox. Please print and mail in the Immunization Form.

ORIENTATION (FRESHMEN)

All freshman participate in the fall freshman Orientation. You also have some choice in the type of Orientation you get to experience. SELECTING FRESHMAN YEAR CLASSES

Beginning on May 27 at 12:00 Noon (ET), you will be able to choose courses for the fall semester through our online system, Self-Service. You will receive further instructions as well as your English and Math placements at a later time prior to that date. In the meantime, please visit the Registration information page to begin exploring your anticipated major and corresponding course options. It will not be a problem if you are unsure about your intended major. We expect that many students will be ‘still deciding.’ At Great Beginnings, you will have the opportunity to meet with a faculty advisor who will answer your questions, help you refine your course selections, and approve your schedule at that time.

VEHICLE REGISTRATION

All students, residential and commuting, who will be parking a car on campus MUST complete the student vehicle registration. You will pick up your parking sticker during the orientation process. Thank you. Fill out the On-Line Vehicle Registration now »

You will receive further instructions as well as your updated Transfer Credit Evaluation at a later time prior to that date. In the meantime, please visit the Registration information page to begin exploring your anticipated major and corresponding course options. It will not be a problem if you are unsure about your intended major. During Summer Advising Days, you will have the opportunity to meet with a faculty advisor who will answer your questions, help you refine your course selections, and approve your schedule at that time.

SUMMER TRANSFER ADVISING

 

 Summer Advising is offered for all first-time transfer students and marks your 1st official day as an MC student! The purpose of Summer Transfer Advising is to provide you with the information and relationships needed to make a successful transition into Maryville College.  During this visit to campus, you will have the opportunity to meet with an advisor, get your student ID and parking sticker.  More information about other activities that will occur on that day will be forthcoming.

ADVISING AND ORIENTATION

Once you set up your Maryville College email, you will receive an email from the Center for International Education with a “Pre-Arrival Guidebook.” The CIE staff will work with you to begin the process of advising and course selection, and provide you information about your orientation activities and dates.
