The “Our Window of Opportunity” capital campaign has been described by MC President Gerald Gibson as “the most ambitious and transforming campaign in the College’s history.” All constituents are encouraged to stretch their giving by making an annual gift in support of the Maryville Fund, as well as a commitment to an important project of the campaign, as listed above.

Support to date for each facet of the campaign has been very encouraging, and for the gifts already made, the College thanks you. In return, as we continue to raise funds, we would like to provide a brief progress report on the two capitol improvement projects.

Civic Arts Center: Throughout the late spring and summer pile driving has been underway and deep foundation work is nearing completion. A recent article in The Daily Times detailed the progress: The Daily Times Reports: Civic Arts Center Deep Foundation Construction Nearly Complete

Anderson Hall: Scaffolding now encircles much of Anderson Hall and the first phase of the two-phase complete renovation has begun. All work for phase one will focus on external issues, including tuck-pointing the brick, restoring the bell tower, adding a new slate roof, gutters, and new downspouts. Contractors will also stabilize the foundation and footings originally poured just four years after the Civil War. Click here for the most recent press release on the restoration of Anderson Hall.
