Exhibit of pottery, sculpture and other art on display at Maryville College

"Selected Works," an exhibition by Lori Sargent will be on display at the Maryville College Fine Arts Center Gallery from Oct. 7 through Nov. 1.
A public reception and gallery talk will take place in the gallery from 6 until 8 p.m. on Oct. 7. Visitors may view the exhibit and enjoy light refreshments beginning at 6 p.m.; Professor Sargent will speak about her work and answer questions at 7 p.m.
Sargent, professor of art at Lindsey-Wilson College in Kentucky, is an accomplished potter and sculptor, as well as a bookmaker and paper artist. The exhibition features a wide variety of work.
