Sasser gives senior voice recital April 27

Tiffany Sasser, a music education major at Maryville College, will give her senior voice recital at 2 p.m., April 27, in the College’s Fine Arts Center Music Hall.

Sasser, a soprano, will perform works by Handel, Purcell, Mozart, Schumann, Schubert, Faure, Offenbach, Delibes, Sullivan, Copland, Rorem and Berlin.

Alina Rosevear, wife of Maryville College voice instructor Burt Rosevear, will accompany Sasser on piano.

The performance is free and open to the public.

Sasser, the daughter of Bruce and Patricia Sasser of Largo, Fla., graduated from Northside Christian High School in 1999. While at Maryville College, she has participated in the College’s Concert Choir; “Off Kilter,” a small vocal ensemble at the College; the Student Government Association; and the campus’ new radio station, WZUP. A member of the Knoxville Opera Chorus, Sasser recently sang in the company’s production of “La Bohème.”

She has studied with Mr. Rosevear at the College for four years.
