Informational session on 2012 Scottish tour planned for May 3 at MC

Ever wanted to experience the history, culture and landscape of Scotland?
Ron Blake, a representative from Casterbridge Tours, will present an informational session on a 2012 “Scotland: Pipes, Glens & Thistles” tour at 7 p.m., Tues., May 3 in the Harry H. Harter Choral Rehearsal Room of the Clayton Center for the Arts.
A trip that parallels Maryville College’s Concert Choir Spring Tour to Scotland, the tour is open to and designed for community members, faculty, staff, alumni and other friends. Both tours are scheduled for May 22-31, 2012.
The 10-day itinerary includes stops in Oban, Loch Ness, the Isles of Mull and Iona, Inverness, Perth and Edinburgh. The tour also includes visits to some of Scotland’s most famous castles, including Inveraray Castle, Urquhart Castle, Cawdor Castle, Blair Castle, Glamis Castle, Stirling Castle and Edinburgh Castle.
The cost per person starts at approximately $3,500, based on double occupancy. Single occupancy rooms are also available for an additional charge. Prices are subject to change.
