Costa Rica trip leads alumna O'Neal to Ph.D. program

Between exploring the Smokies and traveling to Costa Rica, biochemistry alumna Lindsey O'Neal '13 found her path in the Mountain Challenge program.

She says participating in the program gave her the confidence she needed to pursue a Ph.D. in biochemistry and cellular and molecular biology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
