Area singers are invited to join the Maryville College Community Chorus for the presentation of John Rutter’s “Requiem.” This work for chorus, soli and orchestra will be performed in a joint concert with the Maryville-Alcoa College- Community Orchestra (MACCO) under the direction of Lee Kull and is scheduled for 7:30, May 5 in Wilson Chapel on the Maryville College campus.
Rehearsals for “Requiem” will begin at 7 p.m., Feb. 4, in the rehearsal room of the Fine Arts Center at Maryville College.
The Maryville College Community Chorus welcomes all interested area singers, including high school age participants. There is no audition required; interested persons are encouraged to attend the Feb. 4 rehearsal. (Scores will be available for purchase at the rehearsal.)
