Alcohol Policy
Alcohol is prohibited for students under the age of 21. According to Tennessee state law, students 21 years of age or over may possess and consume alcohol on campus only in designated areas and only in the presence of other students 21 years of age or over.
Safety and Security
On-campus security is available 24-hours a day and is staffed by a professional security officer. MC Security maintains a close relationship with the Maryville Police Department. Security can be reached at 865.981.8112. If you receive a voicemail message when calling this line, the officer on duty is on the line. It is important that you leave a message with a callback number. The officer on duty will receive this message as soon as the line is clear and will return your call immediately.
Withdrawing From the College
Should a student decide to terminate enrollment at MC, the student should schedule an exit interview with the Vice President & Dean of Students. Students who do not follow the official withdrawal procedures may forfeit their deposit.
