Grades
As soon as faculty members submit course grades at the end of the semester, students may access their grades via the IQWeb database using their username and password. Grades are also mailed to the student within a short period of time. In accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), grades are sent to parents or guardians if 1) the student requests that this be done, or 2) the parent or guardian makes such a request certifying that the student is a depend as defined by the IRS.
6-Week Progress Reports
Six-week progress reports are a means for faculty to communicate a need for improvement in specific courses to students, academic advisors, and Learning Center staff. Upon receipt of a progress report, students are encouraged to meet with their advisors and course professors to discuss progress in class and to determine appropriate steps to improve course performance.
