Wellness and Health Services

The Maryville College Wellness Council, composed of staff, faculty, and students, seeks to educate the MC community on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle by providing the resources needed to heighten one’s physical, emotional, social and intellectual well being. These goals are achieved through a variety of programs and activities that address the different wellness issues that our College community feels are relevant to their lifestyles.

Maryville College runs an on-site clinic located in Fayerweather Hall. A nurse is available Monday through Friday. A physician will be available 3 to 5 hours per week as needed. These hours are flexible and may change based upon need. The health fee does not cover any diagnostic tests, i.e., lab work, x-rays, cultures, etc. However, there is no office visit fee for the on-site clinic. If a student wishes to see a physician in the community, the student must pay for the visit and/or file with the insurance company.
