Micah 6

Based on this beautifully articulated call from Micah, Maryville College has developed a new service opportunity with the Blount County Juvenile Detention Center. The Micah 6 program connects MC students with teenagers in the Detention Center for weekly “youth group” activities. Student volunteers facilitate all sorts of fun activities and spiritual discussion. In addition to the time spent at the Detention Center, MC participants also take part in reflection and planning activities with CCM staff. Micah 6 is a great way to be involved with the off-campus community, while also focusing on your own personal spiritual growth.
