Residence Life Staff
The Residence Life Staff works to create a fun and supportive environment in each residence hall. They’re the people who live and work with students in residence halls every day, 24/7.
Resident Assistants (RAs): RAs are student staff members who are assigned to each floor or quad of rooms. They plan activities, help with problems and interpretation of College policy and assist the professional staff.
Senior Resident Assistants (SRAs): An SRA is a Senior student staff member who is responsible for the needs of one residence hall.
Assistant Residence Life Coordinators (ARLCs): An ARLC is a part-time professional staff member who oversees one residence hall.
Residence Life Coordinators (RLCs): RLCs are full-time professional staff who provide leadership and supervision to an area consisting of two residence halls.
Every residence hall is covered by a Residence Life Coordinator. The building in which the RLC does not live is covered by an Assistant Residence Life Coordinator. There is one Resident Assistant per floor or quad of rooms.
What’s Going On?
Throughout the year, each Residence Hall hosts an array of educational and social programs for on-campus students to take part in. These programs range from simple movie nights to volunteer challenges to build a Habitat for Humanity house. Our students typically find themselves just as busy outside of class as they are inside the classroom, by taking part in student organizations, intramurals, community worship, Mountain Challenge, plays, recitals and more. There’s always something going on.
