Telephone Services
Telephone services maintains all aspects of the phone network on the Maryville College campus. Billing inquiries and any other telephone related questions should be directed to the Director of Telephone Services.
All rooms are wired for installation of one phone per room. Residents are responsible for providing their own phones. Touch tone phones are required. Local service is included in the basic room rate. Long distance service is available through the College network.
Voice mail is also offered to all students. Even if you have a roommate, individual voice mail boxes are recommended. This replaces the need for an answering machine. Students may establish a long distance account by contacting the Telephone Service Office at 981-8143.
Students are solely responsible for any telephone fees or charges incurred through the long distance carrier. Any misuse of the phone service or failure to pay monthly phone bills may result in loss of service and/or disciplinary action. Trouble with telephone lines should be reported to the Telephone Services Office Monday-Friday, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.
