Playwright, author and director Lisa Soland is currently touring with her hit play SERGEANT YORK: THE PLAY, based on the life of WWI hero Alvin C. York to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of WWI. Her plays Waiting, Cabo San Lucas, Truth Be Told, The Man in the Gray Suit and The Name Game have been published by Samuel French Inc., but her work can also be found in “best of” anthologies by French, Smith & Kraus, Applause Books and Dramatic Publishing. While living in Los Angeles, she produced and/or directed over 80 productions and play readings, 55 of which were original. Ms. Soland teaches playwriting at Maryville College, Lincoln Memorial University, and at various workshops throughout the United States. She has over 50 international publications in all, which includes the children's books: Somebunny To Love, The Christmas Tree Angel, The Unmade Moose, Thump and The Boy & the Bagel Necklace. She currently owns and operates two publishing companies–All Original Plays and Climbing Angel Publishing. For more information visit her website at www.LisaSoland.com
