Mr. Josh Cartagena has 8 years' professional experience that ranges from corporate business management, higher education and athletic coaching. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration & Organizational Management with concentrations in Spanish & Economics from Maryville College. As a liberal arts graduate, he not only understands the demands required of a liberal arts student, but how to apply the unique experience in a corporate business setting. In addition to his expertise with liberals arts, Josh has an extensive background in athletics. Josh has served at Maryville College for 7 years in student athlete development volunteering with varsity football and was a collegiate athlete himself. He leverages that knowledge and experience to help students articulate to employers, graduate programs and nonprofit organizations how each piece of their Maryville College experience has prepared them to “do good on the largest possible scale.” Whether students are interested is a careers in corporate, nonprofit or international settings-- Josh can assist students with understanding how to leverage their liberal arts background, athletic experience and their major academic of study to secure the opportunities they seek. He provides students with tools for academic and career advancement, employer relations, and professional communication development. Josh assists with networking and community engagement to ensure students have the best opportunities available. Josh's experiences in business management, relationship building, and athletic coaching enable him to share valuable information to students for post college success.
