Title:Comparative Vertebrate Zoology
Description: A comparative study of the animals in the vertebrate classes. Lecture topics include: evolution of the structure and function of the major organ systems of vertebrates; taxonomy and phylogeny of vertebrates; and the major physiological and behavioral adaptations exhibited by the vertebrate groups. Laboratory work includes the dissection of specific organ systems in representative vertebrate species.
