Recognizing the increasing plurality of learners in the United States, this course provides students with an understanding of classroom population diversity and emphasizes a variety of differentiated instructional strategies. Focusing on development of inclusive educational practices, students will be able to acknowledge and identify student differences and adapt instruction based on racial, ethnic, cultural, linguistic and socio-economic variations.
