Maryville College: Doing good on the largest possible scale

Maryville College has a long history and tradition, 200 years - in fact, of giving back to the world in enormous ways. The spirit of "doing good" is foundational in our community, and we recognize that our students, staff, faculty, and alumni continue to bring that conviction into the world around them. We are proud of our heritage and hope to continue on in our mission for years to come.

What is the #DoingGood Project?

In celebration of our Bicentennial year, we would like those who are “doing good on the largest possible scale” to be celebrated and recognized for their impact on those around them. This is an opportunity to nominate someone who is truly living out the mission of Maryville College. Each month in the coming academic year, a student, alumni, faculty member, staff member, or administrative leader will be recognized publicly for their service on the Bicentennial page and through our social platforms.

Do you have someone in mind? Please take a moment to share, in-depth, about the work that this individual does and how it makes a positive difference in our community and in the world.

Please complete our form regarding your nomination. Selected nominees will be recognized at the end of each month with a professional bicentennial photo and interview about themselves and their work to be displayed here on the website as well as shared on Maryville College social media platforms. As the nominating party, you may be asked to interview as well. We hope that you will consider and be ready for such an opportunity.
