DESCRIPTION:Project Leaders: Amanda Sparrow Black ’09 and Joe Gunter ’07 \nVolunteers will help to organize donations and clean the clothing closet/donation center at Bellewood & Brooklawn’s campus in Louisville. This project will include sorting through clothing\, toys\, games\, hygiene products\, etc\, and putting them in the correct areas and disposing items no longer needed. \nBellewood & Brooklawn provides trauma informed behavioral health and family services for children\, teens\, and families across Kentucky. They help young people and caregivers find stability after adversity\, including experiences of abuse\, neglect\, and other significant stressors. Our continuum of care includes residential treatment\, therapeutic foster care and adoption\, community based programs\, and outpatient therapy options when available.

DESCRIPTION:Project Leader: Jennifer Phillips Triplett ’07 & BMA PTA \nJoin the Beaumont Academy parents and students for the school’s annual spring clean up to pick up trash\, pull weeds and plant flowers. The group will meet at the front of the school to fuel up on donuts and then break off to tackle each job. All needed tools are provided; just bring work gloves if you’d like them. Cleanups typically take a couple hours\, so come when you’re able and stay as long as you can.

The project will consist of a Mod Podge party at Marcia’s house to decorate plastic containers for use in certain healthcare situations where glass is prohibited.
