SUMMARY:Carl Gombert: Radiant Geometry
DESCRIPTION:Carl Gombert was born in Brimfield\, Ohio in 1959.  He started taking painting lessons at the age of 14 with money he earned delivering newspapers.  He earned a BFA in Drawing from the University of Akron and an MFA in Painting from Kent State University.  He worked as a stagehand before pursuing a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Fine Arts at Texas Tech University.  He has exhibited widely and his work is in numerous public and corporate collections. Since 1993 has taught painting\, drawing and art history at Maryville College in Tennessee.

DESCRIPTION:As we prepare for the 28th KT Days on our campus\, we need your help to set up projects for the week! KT 101 is a new opportunity for alumni to join the KT tradition and participate on Saturday morning before the main KT Days event beginning Tuesday\, June 9. \nCome learn a new skill\, meet alumni from all generations\, and be part of the KT legacy. This event is open to returning KT’ers and those unable to join during the week. Assignments will be given by our Volunteer in Chief\, Reggie Dailey. DESCRIPTION:Brewing Scots\, it’s time to gather for the second annual Alumni Brew Day! Taking place in the Fermentation Science Lab at the MC Downtown Center\, all Scots are invited to participate (experience not required). This year\, we will be brewing sample recipes for a new KT Series of beers to be served at Homecoming. Please complete the form below to register. The deadline to register is Friday\, May 22. \nAlumni Brew Day again takes place as part of KT Days\, an annual service tradition on our campus. Dubbed the KT Keggers\, brewers are also invited to participate in related KT Days events including KT 101 on the morning of Saturday\, June 6\, and the traditional KT Days service days Tuesday\, June 9\, through Thursday\, June 11.
