Job Description and Requirements:
The Maryville College conference program is designed to serve community groups in need of housing, meals, meeting and/or athletic facilities for camps and conferences and special events on campus. To meet the demand of the summer program, students are hired for Conference Assistant (CA) positions. The role of the CA is energetic and fast-paced in the daily routine of hosting summer groups on campus. Job duties include various tasks related to the department such as registration of campers, posting campus signage, housing assignments, room setups, linen preparation and delivery, office work and other miscellaneous assignments.
Conference Assistant Compensation
- CA compensation is based on 35 hours/week or $2200 for the 9-week summer camp season. Additional hours will be compensated at the appropriate rate. Overtime will be paid when hours worked per week exceed 40.
- Free housing in assigned residence hall
- $150 flex dollars for meals

Conference Assistant - Summer 2017 Selection Timeline
All applications and reference forms due to Corporate Sales Office by 5 p.m. on March 22, 2017.
All who complete an application will have opportunity to interview for a position. All who submit a completed application on time will be asked to sign up for an interview. Interviews will be scheduled March 27-30, 2017. Job offers are expected to be made by April 3, 2017.
