SUMMARY:Sweet Things & Good Company
DESCRIPTION:A hands on\, interactive night designed to engage guests in the artistry of making and decorating macarons in a relaxed\, social atmosphere.\n\n\nHosted in the Maryville College Downtown Center\, this inviting space features a state-of-the-art demonstration kitchen and classroom-like set up with butcher block tables that seat two. \n \nUpon arrival\, guests will be assigned a table. If you would like something to munch on as we get started you can add a charcuterie cup from The Local Board for $15 at checkout. \n \nAllison will lead an interactive demonstration in which guests will learn the fundamentals of macaron making and be able to ask questions and try techniques for themselves. \n \nAfter the demonstration\, guests will assemble their own festive 4 inch macaron stack cake to take home. Each table will include pre-measured ingredients and supplies for decorating (such as buttercream\, nuts\, sprinkles\, caramel sauce\, etc). Stack cake example pictured above (ingredients will vary). \n \nThere will also be a dedicated photo opp spot for guests to capture the evening’s memories. \n \n*For those with allergies\, please note\, macaron shells are naturally gluten free as they are made with almond flour. However\, there will be gluten and other potential allergens\, such as nuts\, present in decoration components and the food provided.
