Director of Alumni Affairs

Jennifer is a 2007 graduate of Maryville College and is thrilled to be back at her alma mater.

Prior to returning to MC, Jennifer was an associate at Stones River Group in Nashville, TN, working with a variety of nonprofit and corporate clients on a wide range of assignments, including event planning and management, community engagement, strategic planning, fundraising, content development and other communications-related projects. During this time, she also earned meeting and event planning certification through Belmont University’s Center for Executive Education.

She began her career as an AmeriCorps VISTA, serving as the national development coordinator for Ashoka’s Youth Venture, based in Arlington, VA, and then returned to east Tennessee and joined Radio Systems Corporation as an international marketing specialist.

Jennifer previously served on the Maryville College Alumni Association board of directors, representing the Nashville alumni chapter and serving as chair of the KT Global taskforce. She is proud to have helped launch the KT Global initiative in 2021, uniting alumni across the globe in service activities in their own communities, all in the spirit of Kin Takahashi.

Jennifer’s role as director of alumni affairs builds upon her experience with the MCAA: engaging with alumni and facilitating events and opportunities for alumni to connect with each other and the College. At MC, she majored in International Business, with minors in Writing/Communications and French. Jennifer is married to fellow alumnus Aaron Triplett, also class of 2007, and they have two children: Theodore and Louise.
