First-Generation College Student Celebration, Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 4:30- pm - 5:30 pm at Isaac's

Join us at a drop-in session -- stop by anytime -- to celebrate first-generation students, faculty, and staff (first in the family to go to college).  All are welcome, even if you are not a first-generation college student yourself!  Enjoy cake,  good conversation and pick up an MC first-generation college student sticker to wear on Fri. 11/8, a day designated as a national First-Generation College Student Celebration Day. If you miss the event, stop by the cash register at Pearsons on Fri. 11/8 to pick up a sticker!

Messiah, December 6, 8:00 pm, Clayton Center for the Arts   

An annual Blount County Christmas tradition is coming in December.

MC’s alumni Directors of Messiah 2019 are John Wesley Wright '87 (tenor). Laura Atkinson '05 (mezzo-soprano), April Martin '08 (soprano), Jesse Neace '19 (bass-baritone). The chorus will be performing the Watkins Shaw edition of “Messiah” at 8:00 p.m., Dec. 6, in the Clayton Center for the Arts’ Ronald and Lynda Nutt Theatre.

Tickets are on sale now at the Clayton Center for the Arts Box Office. $25 for Adults and
