For the Love of the Game
Founded in 1819 and affiliated with the Presbyterian Church, USA, Maryville College combines a regionally and nationally ranked liberal arts education with an array of competitive NCAA Division III athletic teams. We currently sponsor 14 NCAA sanctioned sports, plus varsity cheerleading and have been a member of the NCAA since 1969. In the fall of 2000, Maryville was an active member of the nine-member Great South Athletic Conference in all of their sports except football. Beginning in 2012-2013, the Fighting Scots began competition within the USA South Athletic Conference in all of their sponsored sports.
Thirty percent of our students are student athletes. We have a great place for you at Maryville. Our Scots compete in NCAA Division III and are members of the USA South Athletic Conference. We've competed in more than 60 national tournaments and produced nearly 70 All Americans. Learn More »
