Scots fall to LaGrange on Alumni day
The Maryville College Alumni Association sponsored an Alumni Day as the Scots hosted LaGrange College on Saturday evening in MC’s Boydson Baird gymnasium. Fighting Scot alum Kendal Wallace, a former assistant under MC’s Randy Lambert, returned to his mentor’s court for the first time and defeated Maryville 70-67 in front of a capacity crowd.

LaGrange women secure first ever win over Maryville
The LaGrange College Panthers snapped a 25 game losing streak against the Maryville College Scots with an 80-74 Great South Athletic Conference victory on Saturday afternoon in MC's Boydson Baird Gymnasium. The victory was the first for LaGrange over their league rival in 12 seasons and moves the Panthers past Maryville into first place within the GSAC standings.

Coaches vs Cancer Suits and Sneakers Event on Saturday
The coaches form LaGrange and Maryville will be participating in The Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers Awareness Weekend. This is a nationwide annual event in which coaches across the country from all divisions unite for a common cause-fighting cancer. Instead of charging admission on Saturday, we are asking all fans to make a contribution to the American Cancer Society. The total amount raised will be donated to the American Cancer Society in the names of both the Lagrange and Maryville Basketball Programs. Coach Lambert and Coach Wallace are asking all fans to give and help support the work to save lives from cancer.
