Clarinetist and Music Educator RoAnn Romines holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Middle Tennessee State University and a Master of Music degree from Indiana University. She furthered her postgraduate studies at Indiana University and the Universiteit in Amsterdam. With a vast teaching career, Ms. Romines has taught bands in the Dominican Republic, Germany, Indiana and Texas. She has conducted clinics in Illinois, Indiana, Germany, Texas, Kentucky and Colorado and has conducted orchestras in Germany, Amsterdam, and Indiana. As a Clarinetist, Ms. Romines has taught at the Universidad in the Dominican Republic, Frankfurt Hochschule, Berlin, Texas, and the University of Tennessee. She has appeared as a clinician at Midwest, various universities, schools, and state conferences and contributed articles in the Instrumentalist.
She presently teaches in the Maryville City Schools and Maryville College and maintains a large private studio at home representing students in the East Tennessee area. She is actively involved in teaching and pursuing the education of music in our schools and communities.
