Maryville College, known for its academic rigor and its focus on the liberal arts, is a place where students come to grow, learn and challenge themselves to make a difference in the world. The College is proud to offer the same environment to each of its employees.
Located in Maryville, Tenn., Maryville College is ideally situated between the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Knoxville, the state’s third largest city. Founded in 1819, it is the 12th oldest institution of higher learning in the South and maintains an affiliation with the Presbyterian Church (USA). The curriculum is notable for its strong general education program and the two semesters of Senior Study research required of all students.
