Assistant Professor of Developmental Psychology

I am an Assistant Professor of Developmental Psychology. I regularly teach courses such as Research Design, Introductory Psychology, and Adult Development and Aging. I have a M.A. and Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from East Tennessee State University. I currently manage the Inclusion, Development, and Equity for Appalachians (IDEA) Lab. My research focus is on applying meta-scientific principles and intersectionality to developmental psychology, finding innovative ways to involve Appalachians in research participation, and understanding the social implications of aging generally and specifically in Appalachia.
