Bio

A Knoxville native and 2026 graduate of Maryville College, I earned my degree in English Literature with the original goal of becoming a high school English teacher. However, after serving as an Ambassador, I discovered a passion for helping students navigate the transition from high school to college and creating a supportive, encouraging environment for their success.

During my time at Maryville College, I was actively involved across campus as Senior Class Vice President, a founder of a women’s support group, a member of TRIO, a Lead Academic Mentor, and the Major Events Team Lead for the Ambassador Program. I was also a member of Alpha Psi Omega, the theatre honors society. These experiences strengthened my commitment to mentorship, leadership, and building meaningful connections within the campus community.

Why I love MC

My connection to Maryville College began long before I became a student. I first toured campus at 12 years old through my middle school’s AVID program and immediately fell in love with the warm, welcoming atmosphere and close-knit community. From that moment on, Maryville College felt like home.

As a liberal arts institution, Maryville College gave me the opportunity to explore a wide variety of experiences firsthand. During my time as a student, I stepped outside of my comfort zone in countless ways; from participating in theatre productions to helping write and present bills on Capitol Hill in Nashville. Those experiences showed me the value of a community that encourages students to discover new passions and pursue opportunities they may never have imagined for themselves.

I love that Maryville College offers endless opportunities for growth, leadership, and connection. My mission is to share our beautiful campus and supportive community with prospective students and help them see all the possibilities that await them here.
